Another gem from the Santa Elena province of Ecuador, we bring you Hacineda Legrand's experimental natural Ecurobusta. This extremely limited coffee is an enormous step forward in discovering what robusta has to offer. The skin-on fermentation process of this coffee delivers a brighter and fruitier flavor profile than that of its washed counterpart. We taste notes of strawberry rhubarb, mangosteen, and molasses, making this especially enjoyable as a pour over. If somebody had told us about this coffee a year ago, we might not have believed them... We are still blown away every time we taste it, as it is different from any coffee we've had before.
